Mission

The Task Force's mission is to disseminate cutting-edge research in smart grid technologies to a global audience, facilitate specialized workshops and dedicated conference sessions on smart grid advancements, curate high-impact special journal issues and edited books, and foster international collaborations in both research and education within this domain. Through these efforts, the Task Force seeks to establish itself as a pivotal force in advancing CI for smart grid innovation. Additionally, it aspires to create synergistic platforms that unite academia, industry, and policymakers to address long-term energy challenges collectively.

At the heart of this mission is the dual focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to the smart grid with the assistance of CI, promoting and ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.

To further accelerate progress in this field, the Task Force actively cultivates collaboration by organizing special sessions, hosting workshops, coordinating joint research initiatives, and fostering cross-disciplinary partnerships. These efforts aim to create a robust and engaged global community of experts, researchers, industry professionals, and cybersecurity enthusiasts who share a common goal of securing IoT infrastructures against emerging cyber risks. By facilitating knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary dialogue, the Task Force strives to accelerate the maturity of intelligent cybersecurity solutions, ensuring that IoT technologies can be deployed with greater confidence, reliability, and resilience in an increasingly interconnected world.
